Ballet Pink and Jagged Lines, an outfit post

1.2.12

I totally took advantage of the Modcloth sale a couple weeks ago and was stoked to snag a few dresses and a skirt for pretty cheap. As soon as I pulled this dress out of the box my coworker remarked on how fitting this dress was of my style. I LOVE this dress! It has this cute fit and flare shape and the color is a soft ballet pink with jagged lines all over.

I wore my olive Hue tights and olive Kork-Ease wedges, which are incredibly comfortable. It has been so warm here, as is the rest of the country, this winter that I have rarely had to bundle up.

I have an over-abundance of jewelry that I sometimes forget about fun pieces like this necklace. I purchased this a couple years ago to wear to Will's sister's wedding. It is from a local artist and is repurposed from lampshade hardware!

Outfit Details:
Dress via Modcloth
Sweater, H&M
Belt, Thrifted
Tights, Hue
Wedges, Kork-Ease
Necklace via Rock n' Rose Vintage (Portland)

  1. hi Kate,

i've come over from Kyla's space and really liked what you had to say about your interests. um... food, wine, fashion and writing, say no more - i was curious. your blog is a really special place. you've got great style lades, a wonderful mix of retro modern whimsy. then after looking around some more i was all twigged out from the awesome recipes and your NY state of mind for becoming more conscious of the "temple" through eating and exercise. nice one!

you + Will are super sweet & Cassidy is adorable. i'm a fur baby lover, so can totally relate. looks like you've got a really fab life on the go, it's nice to see. hey and your lampshade necklace rocks!! cheers. ♥
