Tonight I made a delicious, healthy dinner from my favorite cookbook:

We had shrimp with kiwi-lime relish, french lentils and whole wheat pita bread. It was delicious and a healthy follow up to the reuben and beer I had at a brew pub last night. It was a super quick and easy recipe to make, and as always, I slightly altered it by adding some diced cucs to the relish.
We had Brooks Amycas with dinner, which was delicious. It's a crisp and floral white wine done in the typical Alsatian style and includes several varietals like Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gruner Veltliner to name a few. It was a nice compliment to the sweetness of the shrimp and the spicy/sweet kiwi relish.
I cut the recipe in half since the serving size was for four, but I wish I kept the original proportions so that Will and I could have it for left overs since it was so good.
