Red and White and Blue All Over, an outfit post

Happy Fourth of July! -And belated Canada Day! It's been quite a while since I've actually done an outfit post on the blog, but I hope with the nice weather and a beautiful park around the corner I can make a reemergence of it as a feature on Fork and Vine.

Will and I are not doing much around here for the Independence Day, just trying to play catch up on life after a rowdy party on Friday for my brother's thirtieth (non-incriminating photos to be posted soon). Cassidy is quite spooked by fireworks so I'm staying at home to be with her and to I try out some new recipes while Will is volunteering for a bike race.

This dress is a newbie that I got on our trip in Bend. It's chambray and I love the loose, yet structured neckline. The only thing it's missing are pockets. It's my belief that all dresses should have pockets!

These Libby. Edelman shoes are also new and they are completely made of cork! I now have three pairs of cork shoes and I love them! They are so lightweight and comfy.

Dress: Uncle Frank cowl neck shift

Flats: Libby. Edelman "Alpha"

Necklace: thrifted

Shades: thrifted

I hope you are all having a fun and safe Independence Day, and if you have a furry friend at home, be sure to give them some extra love, it's kind of a rough day for them. ❤
