I want to preface this with saying that I posted this on my own volition. Kelly Moore did not gift or approach me to review their product in any way, I just wanted to share with you my thoughts on this unique bag.
For many months now, I have been carrying my cameras around in my purse (bad, very bad...I know). Like any fashionable lady, I don't like to carry around a camera bag in addition to my purse and I find them to be unfashionable, which is why I asked for a camera purse for Christmas. I requested several different styles and companies and on Christmas morning I was thrilled to open up a gift from Will containing the Kelly Moore "Posey 2" in Muted Teal. The "Posey 2" has a nice compact size, but still can hold quite a bit of camera and equipment inside. You could easily carry your dslr and up to two lenses inside.
I used a dslr to take this photo, but you can see with my digital point and shoot that it is quite roomy in the bag. The best part is that you can reconfigure the compartments however you like. The inside is a padded nylon material, while the outer material is a quality faux leather (it really does have the look and feel that real leather has).
I love the built in wallet because it frees up the other compartments in the bag for other things. It is easy to access as it as a snap closure and two side zippers. The flash card holder is a nice feature for professional photographers, however I don't see me getting much use out of it. Along the back side their is a slim compartment that was made for an ipad, which is also nice (hopefully I will eventually have an ipad in it!).
There is an adjustable and removable shoulder strap, which is a key feature, but the uniqueness lies in the handle. I love the look and feel of sometimes just picking up your bag by the handle, this one is great because you can fold it open for quick access to your camera or fold over the bag in front.
If you are in the market for a quality camera purse I urge you to check out Kelly Moore's site. There are lots of different styles and the quality is spot on. I love mine so much that I will eventually invest in a second one that is a little roomier for weekend or event outings.
